Check our new backanalysis plot in DAARWIN

As important as it is to check the model is capturing real soil behavior, so is the reliability of the model and what soil parameters will have a higher impact on the response of the model.

Check our new backanalysis plot in DAARWIN where the response of all the Plaxis models evaluated during the backanalysis can be seen.

On the left-hand side we can see the comparison between the monitoring data and the best calibrated Plaxis model using only the datasets from the first excavation phase.

The right-hand side graph displays the predictions of all the models evaluated during the backanalysis. From this, it is possible to see the high variation of the model predictions in the last excavation phase which allows us to highlight the limitation of only using the data sets from the first excavation phase.
