SAALG Geomechanics aims to stimulate good engineering design and construction project management by offering DAARWIN, a specialised cloud-based software which can prevent costly unaccuracies due to geotechnical uncertainties or variable site ground conditions.


DAARWIN allows construction contractors to verify engineering designs and amend them with realistic ground parameters, leaner designs or alternative construction procedures that could lead to massive savings and construction time reduction.


Aligned with the NEC spirit, DAARWIN is designed to make the sharing, visualisation and contrast of information easy among different stakeholders. This information includes design, project construction progress and monitoring data. On top of this, DAARWIN is capable of performing back analysis quickly and efficiently through its custom-designed platform.

Upload models created in Plaxis ( 2Dv9, 2Dv16+, 3Dv16+ versions) with the theorical soil materials data.

Upload the data obtained on site, visualise it by zone and date and plot it for its comparative analysis.

LOCATE INSTRUMENTS

Designate the different instruments by their type and features and pinpoint them in the interactive map.

RUN TO IMPROVE

Select a model and the uploaded data to run an optimisation. Obtain the most accurate soil parameters with back analysis.

LINK INSTRUMENTS
WITH MODELS

Once you’ve created your instruments, associate them with the points created in the Plaxis model.

VALIDATE YOUR DESIGN

Review the optimised parameters obtained in the run and plot them with the ones used in design to verify their reliability.
